Growing up as the youngest in a loud and rather large family has, at times, made me question the importance of my own voice. The number of years my body has existed seems to subconsciously measure the importance of my sentences, opinions, and emotions. But as I get older, so does everyone and everything else. So how do I proceed into a life where I know I'm enough? How will I interact with my environment and others?

Photographers get to decide what’s in a photograph, while rarely getting to be in the frame itself. So, I’ll let my hands reclaim the importance of my art, my voice, and stress the power of personal decision; making myself, the viewer, and subject see me. No matter how mundane or extravagant, my life and the way I view the world matters.
